The moves that our DOLPHINS to make..............

The Dolphins need to do whatever it takes to sign some top defensive free agents this offseason.  Some players that would look really good in Aqua, Coral & Orange:  Julius Peppers, Bart Scott, Terrell Suggs or Nnamdi Asomugha.  Some  offensive players that will be on the market that are possibilities:  TJ Houshmandzadeh, or  Jason Brown, center, Ravens.  In the draft we could definitely use the services of players like Terrence (MT. Cody) Cody, NT, Alabama; Hakeem Nicks, WR, North Carolina, or Kenny Britt, WR, Rutgers.  These three could all end up in Dolphins uniforms next season as we have 3 picks in the first 2 rounds and it is very likely they will be at all 3 positions for our taking.  Lord knows we need a big NT, Jason Ferguson was servicable, but he is getting a little long in the tooth and Cody is a monster of a young man that would clog up the middle of the line for our linebackers to roam freely!!  Hakeem Nicks is a Parcells type WR.  Big, Strong, tough and is not afraid to go across the middle, plus he catches everything.  The kid is a human highlight reel when catching the ball.  Kenny Britt is also a big WR, but he is a speedster as well and we need a game breaker at the WR position.  Ted Ginn is fast and he showed promise this year, but he will not be a #1 wideout.  Davone Bess proved to be a diamond in the rough, coming in as an undrafted free agent and performing the way he did.  I see him progressing as a Wes Welker type that will be very useful in our system for years to come.  Come on Tuna and Ireland.  Now is the time to earn the money you're being paid.  Lets get some of these players in camp and bring a title back to Miami.  It's been way to long of a wait for a another DOLPHINS title.  These players would make us one of the elite teams in the league, and we'd be contending for years to come.       GO DOLPHINS!!!

Nothing for us to hang our heads about........

At this time last year the 'PHINS were already on the golf course or on their way to their perspective vacations! We just lost out of the playoffs, somewhere we haven't seen in 7 yrs. We hadn't won our division in 8 yrs. I am extremely proud of what they accomplished this year. They surpassed my and most likely every DOLFANS' expectations for this season. I thought we would win 6 or 7 games, 8 tops. Boy did they proove us and the world wrong. The only way for them to go is up. They have a few suspect areas that need attention this coming offseason. Secondary, DT, and WR. We also couldn't go wrong beefing up the O-Line some more. As far as some perspective players I wouldn't mind seeing in a Dolphins uniform next year are Terrence (Mt. Cody) Cody, NT, Alabama; or Hakeem Nicks, WR, North Carolina, to name a couple. I really like Nicks from N.C. this guy is the big, physical WR (the kind that Parcells covets) that we need and the guy is a human highlight reel when it comes to catching the football, not to mention he is a beast when run blocking. MT. Cody is the kind of immovable force we need in the middle of that 3-4 defense. Ferguson did a very servicable job this year, but we all know he is getting a little "long in the tooth". I'm sure we will have a decent draft with Tuna & Ireland calling the shots so I have no worries there. All in all, it was a very exciting start to, what I feel is going to be a really successful run of playoff bound seasons. Keep up the great work and thank you, The MIAMI DOLPHINS, for bringing happiness and excitement back into my football life.
GO DOLPHINS & as always DWO 4-LIFE!!!
